Just in case you haven't been following the US Ski Team news - our friend and staffer Garrott Kuzzy is going to the Olympics!!! On Jan 26, Garrott was named to the U.S. Olympic Cross Country Ski team. He will be heading to Vancouver in a few days to prepare for the events. Way to go, Garrott! All of us here at New Moon... are so happy for you and can't wait to see you compete. Congrats, bud; enjoy every minute, you deserve it!

New Moon Ski and Bike Words of the day: Overmitts, overboots, balaclava. It is cold, cold, cold in Hayward this a.m.! At 28 below 0 we are the coldest spot in the state. For all you hard core adventure seekers, skiing is still an option. Sure, there may be windchills of -35, but it will heat up to a balmy -3 degrees. Classic is on the menu ...today, so grab your Swix Polar, your cork and go ski! (But be safe everyone - have a great weekend)
